Delete my data

You can delete everything Population Decides holds about you at any time, in the game or the app, or by email. It is free and you don't need to give a reason.

In the game or the app

1. Open Population Decides (or the Population Decides app) on the device you play on.
2. Go to the You tab.
3. Under Your data, tap Delete my data, then Yes, delete everything.

It happens straight away. The game then starts fresh on that device.

By email

Email privacy@populationdecides.com from the address you signed up with, or tell us roughly when you played if you never gave an email. Put "Delete my data" in the subject. We'll confirm within 7 days and delete within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign in email
• Saved progress, points, streaks and badges
• Your daily decision votes and breaking decision votes
• Your "about you" answers, if you gave any
• Your Budgets in the People's Budget
• League memberships and the display name you used
• Email sign ups and daily notifications
• Usage events linked to your player ID

What we keep

Totals that have already been published, such as a day's result or the People's Budget averages, contain no personal data and stay as they are. If you were in a published total, you stay in that number but nothing can link it to you.
